On this day of 75th Independence Day 2021, we KshatriyaKomarpanth.com team thank Shri. Ramdas Ramesh Naik for his selfless service to our community as well as other communities of Karnataka. Shri. Ramdas Ramesh Naik along with his team is providing a major role in finding the history of our community and his work is still in progress. He and his team with the collaboration of Akhila Komarpanth Samaj Karwar have made a major breakthrough by finding out our community connection with Sri Gokarn Mahabaleshwar Temple.

ABOUT SHRI RAMDAS RAMESH NAIK

Shri. Ramdas Ramesh Naik was born in Kumta on 20th April 1983. Below are his work done for our community as well as the society. There are a huge list of things he has done for this society and our community we have picked only few things to keep this article short. Previously he was a member of Namo Brigade which was later dissolved and renamed as Yuva Brigade. In Yuva Brigade he worked as Sanchalak in Uttara Kannada District for a year and later he worked as Sanchalak for Mangalore Vibhag (Division) which consists of Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Chikmagalur, Udupi, Shimoga district for two years. Presently he is working in Gram Swarga Prakalpa for Karnataka and Saha Sanchalak for Mangalore Vibhag (Division).

During the 2020 flood in Kadra many people has lost their homes and livelihood. He and his team also repaired Mahamaya Temple in Kadra, Karwar which was broken due to flood and Rain in the year 2020. He and his team made sure to get funds and provided a monthly support of Rs 10,000 per month for 4 families in Kadra, Karwar, Mallapur, Kumta areas by adopting them for 6 months from Yuva Brigade. He along with his team also helped 2 families to build their homes by Shrama Daana which was affected by flood and rain with funding from Yuva Brigade.

There are various works carried out by Mr. Ramdas for development and cleaning of temples and lake rejuvenation in and around Uttara Kannada District.

Shri Ramdas Ramesh Naik along with Shri Chandrakanth Naik and Shri Yogesh Naik contacted few people in Ankola, Saikatta Karwar, Halga, Canacona Goa and Kadwad Karwar on Jan-Feb 2017 to find out connections between Kshatriya Komarpanth Samaj and Sri Gokarn Mahabaleshwar Temple. Historically the ritual was prevailing since 18th century and recorded in the registered document in the year 1935 had stopped for some reasons in the year 1990s. With the blessings and directions of Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Shri Ramachandrapura Mutt, Hosanagara in Shimoga district in the Indian state of Karnataka, Shri Ramdas Naik along with Shri Chandrakanth, Shri Yogesh and Shri R. S. Naik President Akhila Komarpanth Samaj and committee Members restarted this ritual of rathotsava from 2017 April and it’s going on till present.

He also stated to kshatriyakomarpanth.com team that he is also been guided and directed by Haldipur Matt Guruji of Vaishyavani Community.

Shri Ramdas Ramesh Naik and Shri Yogesh Naik has also mentioned they are working on history of our community by consulting our seniors and soon we may have an unbelievable facts of our community which will help our future generations of our community.
