Shri Harishchandra L. Naik (H. L. Naik), resident of Vasco Da Gama, Goa receiving “Komarpant Seva Puraskar” instituted by Kshatriya Komarpant Samaj, Goa at the hands of Shri Damu Naik, ex-MLA and Shri Subhash Phaldesai, the then MLA in the year 2017 in recognition of his dedicated services to the Komarpant Samaj in Goa. Shri Harishchandra Laxman Naik was born in Yellapur, Uttar Kannada District, Karnataka on 18th December 1948. Father, (late) Shri Laxman Shivappa Naik was working as a Circle Inspector, Yellapur,Uttar Kannada District, Karnataka. Mother, (late) Smt Gouri (Honnamma) Laxman Naik, was a housewife. They are natives of Laxmeshwar (Kerekatte) Ankola, Uttar Kannada.

Shri H.L.Naik passed his SSLC from People’s Multipurpose High School, Ankola in the year 1966 and passed his B.Sc. in Chemistry and Botany from Karnataka University in the year 1971. After his graduation, he moved to Mumbai and started his career there.

He has taken and is still taking keen interest in Samaj’s activities. He is the Founder of Shri Sharadamba Krupa Komarpant Charitable Trust (R). He served as the President of Vasco Block Committee of KKS for 15 years. At present, he is the Advisor of the same.
